2023 Awards
We are very excited to announce that the inaugural Recognition Hawick Awards will take place in November 2023. In our bid to start small and grow, we will only have 5 awards this year, despite us knowing that we could easily recognise 500 things about our town! These awards will be categorised similarly to the four years of ‘Vision 2014’ and will recognise individuals, groups and businesses for their contribution to the town, with winners being selected by a panel of judges who are respected townsfolk and representative of all categories.
NOMINATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED HAVING RAN FROM END OF APRIL TO THE END OF AUGUST 2023.

The other four award categories will be as follows:
The Industry Award will recognise the success of a local business which positively contributes to the town.
The Sports Award will recognise the success of local groups and individuals who have achieved success or positively contributed to the town in the world of sport.
The Arts & Culture Award will recognise the success of local groups and individuals who have achieved success or positively contributed to the town in the arts & culture area.
The Heritage Award will recognise the success of local groups and individuals who have achieved success or positively contributed to the town’s heritage.
